Karen Lee Monferdini is a Financial Advisor Assistant. She provides high-level administrative support as well as client services and communication. Karen Lee graduated from Berry College with a Bachelor’s of Science.

Karen Lee was formerly a Hoofstock and Carnivore keeper at the Fort Worth Zoo in Texas, and her love for animals is a big part of her life. She is currently involved in animal rescue with the Kershaw County Humane Society and the Cat Around Town Project.

Katherine Combs is a Client Services Specialist and Operations Manager with Cornerstone Financial Management.  She has been with the team since Ken started the practice in 2014.  Katherine supports her local community through her work with the Cayce Woman’s Club, and supports Veterans in honor of her Father and Mother who served in the Navy.  She has two dogs and two cats and enjoys spending time in her yard.

Shannon Essick – Boone, is a Client Service Specialist at Cornerstone Financial Management since 2018.  She specializes in connecting with clients on multiple levels delivering direct and on demand client service. 

Shannon is a graduate of Midlands Technical College with an Associate in Office Systems Technologies.  She comes to Cornerstone Financial Management with 32 years of Banking and Financial experience from a variety of positions such as Proof Operator, Bank Teller, Credit Card/ATM card operator to Division Administrative Assistant to Management with several firms including American Express, UBS and Waddell & Reed.

Shannon resides in Lexington, South Carolina.  She enjoys reading and gathering with family and friends.

Kim is a Client Services Specialist at Cornerstone Financial Management, assisting advisors with account setup and maintenance, scheduling, and enhancing the overall client experience. As a former teacher, Kim’s passion is for helping people, and it shows with the relationships she forms with clients.

Kim graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in teaching and a certification in paralegal services. Kim enjoys spending time with her husband Brannon, cheering on the Gamecocks (especially baseball), and spending weekends at either the lake or the racetrack. One interesting fact about Kim is that she has coached/taught cheerleading and gymnastics for 20 years.
